Roadware Product Safety
At Roadware, we take product safety seriously. Always use approved gloves and safety goggles when applying Roadware products. Use protective clothing and good industrial hygiene. Roadware polyurethanes are generally chemically resistant when cured and will not wash out of clothing, shoes or skin. Use with care. When cutting, grinding, or polishing concrete, ensure you use adequate dust protection as specified by OSHA regulations. Click here for more information.

VOC’s
98% of all VOC’s in Roadware 10 Minute Concrete Mender™ are adsorbed in the polymerization process. The VOC’s are locked in the molecular structure of the material and are not allowed to escape into the atmosphere for the life of the repair.
Concrete Mender Side A and Concrete Mender Side B start reacting within seconds once combined. Because the two components rapidly polymerize, exposure to unreacted material is minimal during normal use. In pre‑packaged dual‑cartridge systems, the material is self‑mixing and is dispensed in a semi‑reacted state, further reducing the potential for contact with individual components. Under these conditions, airborne concentrations are typically below measurable limits.
When pot‑mixing the components, provide adequate ventilation. Do not pot‑mix in enclosed or unventilated spaces. The reaction process may generate a slight odor associated with a low-vapor-pressure (LVP) solvent present in the formulation. Low-vapor-pressure solvents are substances that evaporate slowly and have a lower tendency to form vapor compared to other solvents. They are often used in applications where reduced emissions and environmental impact are desired, such as in coatings and adhesives. Ventilate enclosed areas to dissipate odors and maintain safe working conditions.
