How to Use It (Contractor Workflow)
1. Prep the Area
- Clean out loose debris
- Vacuum dust
- Make sure the concrete is dry
- For cracks: chase with a blade if needed to open the top
2. Choose Your Method
- Cartridge — best for cracks and small spalls
- Needle‑tip mixers — for tight cracks and precision work
- Bulk mix — for larger spalls or wide cracks
- Sand‑extended mix — add silica sand to build volume and match thermal movement
3. Apply the Material
- Let Concrete Mender™ flow into the crack — don’t force it

- For spalls: mix with sand to a stiff, wet consistency and trowel in

Limitations You Should Know

HAIRLINE CRACKS
- Score the top of the crack with a diamond blade or wire brush.
- Remove dust with a vacuum.
- Flood with Roadware 10 Minute Concrete Mender™ supplied in twin cartridges and optional needle tip mixer. Or, use the Roadware Easy Injection System.
- Add a fine-graded silica sand to larger areas and allow to soak in.
- Strike off excess material and allow to

SPALLED CONTROL JOINT
- (Fully cured non-moving)
- Clean out with diamond grinder and remove dirt and dust. Score back spall with blade for a finished look.

- Add a fine graded silica sand and additional liquid to grade.
- Strike off excess material and allow to cure for 10 minutes at 70°F.
- Open to traffic. Finish and blend with a grinding stone if desired.
DELAMINATED SLAB
- Drill 3/8″ hole into the void.
- Remove dust with a vacuum.
- Inject Concrete Mender™ with the Easy Injection System.
- Add a fine graded silica sand and additional liquid to fill holes to grade.
- Strike off excess material and allow to cure for 10 minutes at 70° F.
- Open to traffic. Finish and blend with a grinding stone if desired.
THRESHOLDS AND
UNEVEN SLABS
- Clean out with diamond or wire grinder and remove dirt and dust. Score lower edge with diamond blade for a finished look.
- Flood with Roadware 10 Minute Concrete Mender™
- Add a fine graded silica sand and additional liquid to a mortar consistency.
- Shape with a clean steel trowel and allow to cure for 10 minutes at 70° F.
- Open to traffic. Finish and blend with a grinding stone if desired. Maintain existing expansion joint if necessary.
